Agree that Neal=Bae is predictable, which is exactly why I think (sadly) they'll do it. But he's not really too young to be Bae. The actor is 35/36 years old. Bae (who would've been 14 years older than Emma, at least) would be about 42/43 now, so that's not too far off the mark. (And at least a 29 year old Emma and a 43 year old Neal is much less creepy to me than a 17 year old Emma and a 31 year old Neal! )

But Neal being Bae creates conflict in many directions, including conflict b/t Emma and Hook. We know that Hook isn't above using people Rumple cares about to hurt him. We've seen him go after Belle once already, chances are he'll do that again. And if Bae is revealed as Rumple's long-lost beloved son, then he'll have a target on his back as well. Hook can't defeat an empowered Rumple directly, so chipping away at the edges will be his best option right now.

And Emma, as sheriff, love interest of Hook, former lover of Neal and mother of Rumple's grandson, will be caught in the middle of it all. Angst!

The age thing confuses me. Time didn't move any differently when Emma and Snow were in FTL. So how can a 14 year old boy go to a world without magic a few hundred years ago and still be alive now?

I'd love for Emma/Hook/Rumple/Bae/Belle to be in a room together when it comes out that Rumple killed Milah.

Poor Henry. Seriously the tangled Neal/Emma/Hook/Milah/Rumple stuff and then there's the fact that his grandmother's stepmother is his adoptive mother. I wonder who his next relative will be.

ITA. I wouldn't even watch it for free. Heck, I'd pay just to see this! It would be epic, that's for sure. It really does need to come out, though, that Rumpel killed Milah. Hope Hook just blurts it out during the right, opportune moment.

See? This is exactly why I don't want Neal to be Bae. Henry's parentage is already complicated enough as it is. Why add Rumpel and his dysfunctional family into Henry's line? And I don't want to know who Henry's next relative is. Cora, The Evil Queen, Snow White, and Prince Charming are enough for me.

Thanks, Wilma. I love that scene so much. The banter between them was hilarious and awesome. I just want to remind us all why we love these two so much, by posting gifs of their first encounters. Hope they get more awesome scenes like this soon.

A few hundred years? Unless I'm understanding the timeline wrong (which is always possible!), I don't think it was that long. Hook was in Neverland for a few hundred years, but that's a different realm. When Bae came to our world, it wasn't long before baby!Emma and Pinnochio/August followed along through the wardrobe. Bae was about 14 then, and would've aged normally, as would Emma & August, in our world.
